ABOUT US

Judith Cole has won over 15 local, state and national titles in a career that has spanned over 35 years in the pageant industry.  She is listed with Turn For The Judges, Pageantnet, Pageant People  and EPIC.  In the past she has served as Executive Director  for the Miss Merrimack Valley and Miss Quincy Bay Pageants, as well as Business Manager for Miss Bay State and Miss Quincy Bay. She has performed extensively in the northeast as a professionally trained vocalist (having studied with Greg Larkin, Alberta Comtois and Ivan Oakes) as well as winning academic vocal competitions and cast with the Boston Light Opera Company. Her knack for taking a talent and turning it into performance art is well known in pageant circles.  She has brought nine young ladies to state titles and three to national in the past three years.

Originally from California, Mark Taylor has been a professional artist his entire life.  He is also a Boston-based voiceover artist who's voice can be heard both on radio, TV, Museums and Theme Parks throughout the United States.  Mark spent several years as assistant to veteran NBC Staff Director, Doc Livingston in a California acting and talent workshop. He spent three decades as both an illustrative artist and designer/sculptor for the theme park industry around the world including the Disney parks. He has the inate ability to draw out talent and self assuredness from even the most shy contestants.  His artistic eye can help any young lady achieve the perfect stage elements.

Claire Johnson is the newest member of the Pageant University staff.  Originally from Dennis, Ma, Claire attended schools on the cape and graduated from Boston College and Tufts University.  She holds her Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work.  Claire has held the titles of Cape Cod's Junior Miss, Miss Greater Malden and Miss Cambridge. At the 2007 Miss Massachusetts Pageant she won the overall interview award as well as placing 3rd runner-up.  She has been trained in music, voice, dance, piano and cello.  Claire was a member of the Rainbow Tribe Dance Company.  Recently relocated to the Metro DC area, Claire will be coaching and judging in that area for all pageant systems.   To reach Claire, email her at Claire@pageantuniversity.com
